Tony just stared at Nicki after the strange introduction. "...I never exercise. What the hell is up with you?"

"Well of course you don’t! You don’t need to, you’re naturally fit. It’s a gift you have.” Still the same plastered smile, then he let it drop, “I’m very bad at this. You have to understand, Lestat was the professional actor” Nicki sighed “I’d…Well, I’d like to go see Arthas.”

He winced alittle, like he was expecting Tony to flip “There’s things I want to know. Why he did it. What he expected to accomplish. If he did it for the same reasons I do stupid things..” he trailed off alittle.

"Can't you ask him over the journals? And I don't think so. He's not much like you."

“He kills people to effect them. To be the most feared, to be known,” Nicki tried to explain “I want to know what did that. Do you understand? If it’s something simple, something that could happen to me. Did he care about anyone? Did he have someone like I have you?”

He stopped again, to think, staring off. His fingers twitched randomly. “I have to see his face when I ask. Just him and I, where he cant turn off the video or avoid me. Him and I, in a locked room. Four walls and nothing else. Except you, but you'll be outside the door where its safe”

Later in Zero

Zero definitely looked better then the last time Nicki had seen it. Fewer people, less sacrifice, and it didn’t smell like the bizarre food they had been trying to bribe everyone with. He also liked the fact that he was on the unlocked side of the bars, Tony right behind him. He noticed the air was thick, for some reason, something that he didn’t find a pleasant feeling at all as he neared the cell he wanted.

Arthas had emptied his stomach of what little had been in it last night and had been periodically dry-heaving since.

Nicki would find him wedged into the corner of the room on the floor, knees pulled up to his chest and head resting on his arms. He snapped his head up at the footsteps, eyes wild.

This wasn’t what he was expecting. His foot falls slowed, became softer. Nicki knew what he was like when he looked like that, wild and utterly lost. He treated it like that.

He went to the bars, and crouched down as close as he could get, holding the bars with his hands and resting his forehead on the ones in-between. Everything felt different. Even his energy calmed.

“What’s happened?” he asked finally, calm, but on edge all at once.

"Nicholas?" he rasped.

He looked out of it enough to not know what day it was.
