Who: Jim Kirk, William Cooper What: Kirk's annoying. It deserves a punch in the face. Where: Port. Somewhere. idk. When: Backdated to first night of port.
Kirk was a little buzzed as he wandered the port. Not drunk, not yet anyway, just enough to stave off the cold and to keep him somewhat interested in his surroundings. It was all very... bright. He never fully understood that part about the holidays. Why every single light had to be on, and usually in seven different colors.
He was heading out of one of the shops when he ran into him. Literally ran into him. And for half a second, he felt the same flash of irritation and happiness because he thought it was Bones, and then reality set in.
Not Bones. Brown or something like that.
"Sorry," Kirk said with something a smirk, so he didn't really look that sorry. "Enjoying the weather?"
Great. The Trekkie. Or, hell, the actual Captain Kirk, who the hell knew? Cooper steadied himself, and considered just shoving past Kirk; he didn't know how much time he'd have to get out of the market, but he didn't want to raise any alarms, either.
"Loving it," he said dryly, frowning. "Watch where you're going next time." Also, get out of the way. He had to figure out how to get home without a passport or any ID, and stopping to talk wasn't going to help much.
Kirk raised his hands in mock surrender. The smirk on his face didn't go anywhere though. "You were in my path, not my fault you just stand around doing nothing in the middle of the way."
He gave Kirk a look, rolling his eyes. "You're not really going to stick with that, are you?" With the crowd, it was hard to step around him; so Cooper reached out, trying to push Kirk to the side so he could get past.
