Uhura didn't really mind this time together. As long as Ana was going to keep her head down, then everything would be alright. Grand theft? Uhura didn't know about that, so...she didn't have to care.

She looked to where Ana was indicating and actually choked on her laughter. "Oh...my God...that's a disgrace." She had on her own Starfleet jacket, as Kirk had requested it, but had jeans on, too. Suddenly...she wished she had changed before going out with Ana.

"You should go over and tell him so," Ana announced, and she looked to her warden and the Starfleet jacket that she wore over jeans. "I bet that you could get him to give you pretty much anything you asked for, even if it was the shirt off his back." Her eyes moved over the man once more. "Let's face it, not having a shirt on would be much more dignified than that."

In that moment, Ana wondered if Uhura had picked out a costume yet. Ana had two, but she didn't think she liked either of them right now. "Have you decided on a costume yet?"

Uhura laughed and folded her hands behind her back as she walked. "Absolutely not. Whatever that uniform is covering....I think we're better off not knowing. Leave it a mystery." She turned down a street corner randomly, not really caring where they were going. She had a good sense of direction, so she knew how to get back, but this town was impossibly small, compared to what she was used to. That helped.

"I did. Harper came with me to help pick one out." Pause. "Did you?"

"I got two, but I don't really like either of them." Ana frowned for a moment. "In the nature of full disclosure, I should tell you that I ran into Damon while I was out. And I literally mean ran into him. I wasn't paying attention and a part of my costume got entangled with his." Ana frowned and considered. "I wasn't wearing this." She gestured down to the leather suit that she normally wore and was wearing again.

"Nothing happened but glaring and complaining about the Admiral while he untangled us, but I thought you should know in case he tells Sveta who tells you." Ana was being truthful about this in order to avoid being truthful about other things like two adolescent king cobras.
