Thanks for figuring this out, Naomi~ tangentdarko August 23 2010, 21:21:31 UTC
"Okay," he responded with a small chuckle. Though he respected the solemnity of the situation and the great amounts of massive danger involved, he didn't particularly respect Shego's beginning lecture and wondered why Irene had even wanted to meet up with her other than maybe safety in numbers. Donnie had a problem with authority figures, mainly. He held up his hands in a gesture of surrender, still smiling. "A little hostile there.."

Hearing a noise down the hall, his expression instantly sobered and his hands dropped to his sides. His gun was still in his pocket, so he finally withdrew the weapon and held it down at his side just in case. It wouldn't be his first time using a gun, but he still wasn't fond of the idea of trying to fight the ghosts he had seen down here when he made the mistake of trying to venture down alone earlier.

"Yeah, sure, cool." Warren said, already looking into the gloom ahead. They should hurry up. Vala could be like, drowning. And she didn't like water. Warren liked water, but apparently it wasn't such a popular past time like he'd thought.

He didn't miss his gun. He knew these demons guys, they stuck to deals. They wouldn't hurt him, no they wouldn't. He'd just walk on by, they'd say hello, and he'd go and get Vala. Maybe make a deal or two, because man, did he ever need his face back.

Bela smirked, checking her own weapon before addressing Shego. "It seems a shame somehow that we never spoke before now. There's a bit of... borrowed whisky I think might suit the occasion once this is over. Would you care to join Irene and me for a round?"

Bela glared down the closest hall, the hair on the back of her neck prickling with ill-ease. "In the mean time, staying stationary seems like a bad idea. Do we spin a gun to point the way, or would one of you like to take the lead?"

OOF. Jae, you are the swifter tagger, obviously. always_thewoman August 24 2010, 07:25:31 UTC
For her part, Irene had the issued gun shoved into a ridiculously tiny black jet evening bag. She'd picked up a knife in the kitchens earlier, and something about that bare length of steel reassured her more than the automatic did; she kept the blade out, fingering the handle idly.

Irene gives a feline smile which mirrors her friend's - it was an idea she liked, but she rather thought a piece of wisdom about eggs and undue haste was appropriate in this situation. "We've got to get back to the Barge first, Bela. Preferably with our skins intact."

She glanced at the others. "Gabriel isn't any help; the fool has no sense of direction without his juju. I suppose it would be too much to ask for that any of your wardens has the foggiest clue of where they are?"
