Who: Ana Lewis/The Baroness, Nyota Uhura What: Warden inmate bonding time/releasing from zero. Where: Zero. When: Backdated to yesterday so Ana can be out for the flood. Warnings: Mentions of torture?
Uhura made her way down to zero, humming softly as she did so. It wasn't a chipper, happy tune, but rather something soft and simple. She didn't like the idea of coming down here and letting Ana out, though that was her decision. She planned on talking to her first but...it seemed like that wasn't enough. She was afraid Ana still wouldn't "get it" and this crime needed a stiff punishment.
There was a thought niggling in the back of her mind, but she didn't want to throw all of this at her inmate at once. She wanted to give her time out of zero, a couple of days, before she did what she planned to do.
Frowning, she walked to Ana's cell and used her item to open the door. "Come with me." Her destination was the interrogation room. "We're going to have a bit of a talk.
When she heard the humming, Ana looked up quickly and watched as Uhura entered her cell. The finger that had been used as a place holder for her advanced page subtly was removed; for some reason she didn't want Uhura to know where she had been reading too. It was completely irrational, but there it was. A part of her really wished that she hadn't asked for this particular book.
Leaving the book on the bunk, Ana slipped soundlessly off the top bunk, and then she followed Uhura obediently out the door. She didn't expect to be released until the full seven days were done (especially with that bitch Rayne breathing down her warden's neck) but perhaps having the talk outside of the cell was a good thing.
Still, a 'bit of a talk' didn't sound like something that she wanted to have, but perhaps going meek with this would be the way to go. Yes, meek again, save for when the vampires were involved.
Uhura was not tolerant today. Her humming stopped when Ana stepped out and did not resume again. Instead, she led her to the interrogation room and sat down in a chair, waiting for her to do the same. Whether or not she did was irrelevant, though. Uhura just started talking, leaning back in her own seat before she did so.
"First off, I think you've gotten out of zero all that you needed to. So, when we finish this conversation, you are free to go." She placed her hands on the table and sighed.
"But this is far from over. I want you to stay away from Damon. Do you hear me?" Her tone sharpened. "No talking to him in the journals, no going near him. Nothing."
Ana sat when Uhura had order here too, after a quick look around the room. The room felt familiar even though she'd never been there before, and idly she wondered if there was a person listening on the other side of the two way mirror. She stared at it for a moment before her hands closed one over the other and she listened with a look of polite inquiry as Uhura spoke, nodding a bit.
However, at the mention of Damon, she sighed dramatically. His name made her feel distinctly odd, but she was never going to mention it, and it oddly made her think of their father. Shaking it off, Ana snarked quickly. "I only spoke to him to express the fact that it was unfair that he wasn't locked up for what he did, but I was. I even admitted to it, when he made someone else lie to him. That's not fair, Uhura."
And in Ana's eyes it wasn't, and Damon's explanation from it didn't cover it. "What if he contacts or attacks me? Will I be locked up and him left roaming free happen again?"
