so apparently his PB lives in low mountains. and is actually a toad. we're going to ignore this.

Facilier hopped along a delightfully mossy patch of ground, taking in the sounds of insects and the long shadows of grass and stalks of okra. He doubted his new species was native to this area, figuring he most likely belonged in some South American jungle, but he'd grown up along the bayou and spent years training there with its Vodou Queen; yes, this would be home to him no matter what.

"Short of the city itself, yeah. Definitely something like it."

He tried to keep his voice casual, but he couldn't help but think that in spite of how he was adapting - surprising himself, really, with how he was beginning to calm down and be helpful now and then - a lot of the time he just wanted his life back, even the hard parts.

what toad? I don't see any toads anywhere. B|

"It's beautiful," Iroh said quietly. "I am told there are places like this in my world, but I've yet to visit them myself."

He paused and half-smiled. "I'm sorry. Am I scaring away the food?"

he is 100% that other thing that hops. and is neon purple.

"You ought to go see it." Facilier smirked as best a frog could. "You could just magic some fire up if you ran into a gator."

Testing his legs, he took a bigger leap towards the water and balanced himself on a floating lily pad. "You're fine. If there's one thing there's no shortage of in this world, it's bugs. Now let's see if I can do this..."

Iroh was content to stand well back for this and watch in silence, half his attention focused on Facilier and half on his immediate surroundings. Frogs had their fair share of predators and Iroh doubted he'd live it down if he allowed his Inmate to be eaten.
