"Not bad, for humans... Oh, who am I kidding? You were collectively abysmal!"

Kaylee rolled her eyes as she passed onto the docking station next to Q, patting him on the arm as she went. "And that's the kind of encouragement people need, definitely," she said with some sarcasm. Standing off to the side of him, she crossed her arms. "Y'did good, Q," she said, smiling halfheartedly, remembering with some mild guilt how she'd snapped at him back at the main console. "Thanks ( ... )

Namor thought the mission was over, that none were saved, so they were forced to go. He thought that no more would die. He was wrong. Too shocked to act before Kaylee was brutally killed, the fury of his attack was only stronger once he did snap into action.

"Monster!" he cried, moving his gigantic gun to point toward the alien before he began to fire rapidly.

It would not get away with this, and as they were no longer by the reactor, he no longer had to worry about blowing the place up. Besides, he already knew it would be going soon, he might as well ensure that this creature stopped and took no more lives. Fortunately, he had one of the 'smart guns', making the aiming quite simple.

Billy was a little away from the main group at the time, the complete disaster that had become of the rescue mission wasn't exactly a surprise, but getting away had been. He hadn't honestly been expecting to face the prospect of going back to the barge without so many of the people he'd grown to expect to see, grown to care about.

When he heard the roar of bullets behind him, he almost laughed, then felt slightly nauseous. It hadn't ended. It was never going to end, they could wipe these things off the face of the universe and flee a million miles and still they'd be haunting his nightmares. With a sudden surge fo anger, for those who he'd wanted to return with him and for his newly fraught psyche, Dr Horrible turned and fired thoughtlessly at the thing, letting the sound of his fire be lost with Namors as he hissed a silent curse under his breath.
