"M-miss Giselle!" Azmaria smiled sheepishly, "Oh I am fine, do not fret about me! I'm the one that bumped into you..." she sniffled a little, but a friendly voice was already making her feel better. "I am... better now that I've seen a friendly face, Miss Giselle," Azmaria explained as they set out for the medical bay.

"You see... some people do not trust me to take care of myself, and do not believe I'm... useful," she sighed, giving Giselle's hand a squeeze. "How ever am I to prove myself to them if they do not give me a chance?"

Adrian felt slightly relieved that he wasn't being sent into combat; there were certain things he didn't like to do, and shooting people was one of them. Guarding the medical group seemed a lot safer, anyway.

And more sterile.

"I-I'll stand outside the door," he said, in response to Adam's order. Then, backing down a bit, he added meekly, "If that's...you know. Okay."

Some time after things had settled... (Jezebel, Dexter, Brian, Anyone) argentum_mortis October 13 2008, 05:34:02 UTC
((OOC: I hope it was the right choice to start a new thread for this... I mean, it takes place a while after everyone is first getting inside and... yeah ^_^;; Also... Jezzy and Dexy in one post, because I'mm good like that ))Better late then never, Jezebel thought. He managed to find his way into the medical facility without much problem-- but it looked like the good doctor had been busy. His white coat was stained in blood, and his hand was wrapped up as if he had suffered a horrible wound. Between himself and a new acquaintance --Brian Moser-- they carried a man who seemed barely awake, his skin white like paper, a huge gash tied up in stitches from the base of his throat, a fair way down his chest. Within a few moments they had carefully placed Dexter into a bed, and wrapped him in blankets ( ... )

After setting Dexter down, Brian found a chair and sat, numbly watching the Englishman working with the IVs, drained and exhausted. The whole night had been completely out of his experience. He looked at Dexter, hooked up to the medical equipment and swallowed hard; but at least he'd be okay now - they'd managed to get the thing out.

Brian's hands were still covered in blood from the warm wet cavity of his brother's chest. He looked down at them, flexing his fingers, feeling the skin tightening as the blood dried. Despite his medical knowledge, he was in no state to do anything useful at the moment.

(ooc: Just establishing that Brian's here. He won't be doing anything for a while, so don't wait for his turns.)

Brian was chewing his lip and staring at the ground when Giselle placed the towel into his hands. He looked over at her in surprise, letting the cloth slip out of his hands onto the floor. "What?" God, he hadn't even heard her coming over. He was so numb. His senses felt dull. He realised vaguely - clinically, in the back of his mind - that was probably a little in shock. Strange, he thought, detached. I've never felt like this before.

He realised he was still staring at her and he looked down at the now slightly blood towel on the ground. "Oh," he murmured quietly, shaking his head a little. "Right." He leaned to pick it up.
