Abigail had been a bit depressed lately; her new warden had exposed her to her file, which, while harsh and despite all denial on her end, told the events from Salem nearly exactly as they'd happened. Furthermore, Pollux had disappeared. She'd lost both her honor and her friend in less than a week.

To ease the blows of both events, she had agreed to meet with Parker. It was the way of things in her society: when suffering from sadness, there was no better cure than the company of others. She liked Parker, and the offer to look at the woman's clothes made things that much more tempting for her. She had learned of brassieres, but the rest of the wardrobes of modern women were a complete mystery to her.

She knocked roughly on the woman's door not long after her last message, forgetting once again that the doors here were not quite so solid and heavy as those in Salem.

When there was that heavy knock, Parker spun around and looked at the door with one brow moving toward her forehead. Well, that sounded more than a fucking little like a cop. Stalking over to the door, she expected one of the security (former security) guards on the other side. When she saw Abigail, Parker raised her brow even higher. Her voice was soft and amused when she spoke. "Well, if nothing fucking else you knock like a fucking man. Come in."

Parker took a step back into the room, and she put out the cigarette that she had been smoking into an ashtray that was a little overflowing. Thankfully, Parker always took care to make sure that her room didn't smell of the stale tobacco, though it was an action that was much harder to do on the barge than it was at home when she had a housekeeper who came in once a week and windows that opened onto actual outside.

Abigail entered the room; she had not yet ventured into any rooms besides those of Pollux and Emily Prentiss, and she had little idea of how the rest of the inhabitants lived.

Now, she stared. Parker had amazingly beautiful possessions. Compared to the rough linens on her own bed, the silk sheets seemed like something royalty might own. She found herself drawn to the bed, but her attention was caught by the large closet.

"Have you a second room?" she asked in surprise.

"A second room?" Parker asked quickly, wand walked towards the closet. Her attention shifted, and she followed Abigail's line of sight and realized that she meant the closet. Quickly Parker laughed. Right, the kid was from the Salem Witch trials... she probably didn't even have a toilet connected to her room.

"No," the word was spoke quickly, and Parker gestured toward the door. "This is my closet. Come on in Abigail Williams, take a fucking look around." Honestly, Parker didn't think that Abigail would actually try any of the clothing on, never mind wear it out in public. After all, puritans didn't really show any ankle or anything, now did they? Parker's clothing all showed of ankle (well, save for pants) or they showed off a fair amount of cleavage.
