Sylar glanced over at Rose, one eyebrow raising only slightly in reply to what she was asking. Then a smirk crawled across his lips and he shifted his gaze away again. Yes, he had been here before. The killer was actually hoping to see Kirby Plaza while they were here, those familiar orange stairs where he had nearly forced Peter to destroy New York, where Hiro had stabbed him and he had survived as always. It was a nice change to be back in this city and he was more happy with it than he would admit, hands stuffed into the pockets of his black pea coat. "Yes
( ... )
He was going to be sure to keep a close eye on Sylar today. One day for this port. That's all.
The girl's hand in his own felt natural as he swung it slightly, overly giddy for this day trip. The Doctor actually had a plan, do something fun, convince Rose to go on her own to shop, then he and Sylar would do some shopping of their own...really more of an excuse to get to know his inmate in his own words. A file can only say so much.
"Right! Let's start with some ice skating, maybe even get in on Letterman? What do you say?" He addressed the both of them, the brightest of smiles on his face, enjoying the snow covered areas, the lights, and decorations.
At his reply the blonde just simply nodded remembering that he hadn't had any mates. Though she still wondered if he had ever visited anyone in the city or if maybe he had lived here. It was probably more like the latter she guessed.
She gave the Doctor's hand a squeeze when he started speaking and her eyes lit up at the suggestion of ice skating, followed by the slight laugh. "I say, ice skating is a go. Reckon Letterman's gonna be packed. And besides we can always see this place again some other time," she said still thinking that at some point they'd both find a way off the ship together and back out there through time and space. One day.
"And maybe we can grab some hot cocoa?" Another glance at Sylar before she directed her attention towards a decorated festive window.
Sylar absently wondered what made The Doctor fond of Letterman rather than Leno, but didn't bother to comment. He wouldn't be ice skating either, but he could protest to that later. For now, he walked with them quietly, waiting for Rose to put in her thoughts; he silently hoped she would argue the ice skating plan so that he wouldn't have to.
"I'll watch," he muttered begrudgingly, irritated that he was even being forced to join them. If the killer had his way, he would be wandering free around New York City. Specials aside, as he wondered if there were any in this artificially created world, he wanted to explore his memories on his own time in his won mind, not with the Brady Bunch couple strolling about leading the way. Besides, he had half a mind to go looking for Isaac.
Stepping up on the other side of his warden, Sylar canted his head slightly to whisper to the other man. "I want to visit Kirby Plaza. Alone."
