[at the sound of the knock, Light's eyes flicker up from his book to the ceiling. for a few seconds, he just stares; he's filled with a horrible suspicion that he's imagining things again. even as he puts the book aside, slowly, he doesn't get up from his bed, because he's afraid that if he goes to open the door he'll see--

Does he have nightmares, do you know?

[frowning pause.] Not as far as I know. It's always possible that he does and he just doesn't make any sound, or talk about them afterward.

How sick is he?

He's not too badly, as far as I can tell. On the other hand, my perspective is probably biased simply by the fact that he's not doing as badly as I am.
