My newest musical obsession is Lestat. (6 days until I get the chance to see it!) So here are some icons made from the very limited source of images, as well as from Interview With The Vampire, some with lyrics and quotes from Lestat.

:) I love that picture. Because in the movie, she's being vicious, but for some reason, I think she looks almost forlorn in that still.

When I was younger, I used to be so obsessed with her performance in that film. (I still am!) I think she, Cruise, and Pitt all did their best work in that, because I've never particularly liked them in anything else. (Kirsten's done a couple of things since that I really did enjoy, though.)

I agree! I have always enjoyed Kirsten because of that movie. It is such a fantastic performance for someone so young. She really does appear to be a much wiser soul in the body of a child. It really is fantastic. Definitely my favorite performance by Brad Pitt, excepting Legends Of The Fall. Tom Cruise is Tom Cruise. This movie came out before I knew he was insane. But I guess that doesn't change the fact that I think he is an interesting actor. Performances like this one and Far And Away and The Last Samurai show that he can delve deep into characters. I don't know. I just love everything about Interview With The Vampire.

It was sort of a last minute decision, so I bought the $35 second balcony tickets. But I'm in the second row, so it shouldn't be too bad. I'm just excited to get to see it! I thought I was only going to stage door.

I would have had no problem with front mezz, but for financial reasons (this is one of five shows I will be seeing on my five day trip to the city), we wen't with the $35. I'm hoping to be back sometime this fall, and if all goes well for the show, I should get to see it closer next time!

this icon is irrelevant, but.....

it almost looks like he's using the quotes in that picture...or like he's trying to bless louis.
