Various media/extended tweets?

I've always wanted a way where I could 'speak with' drivers on the road through holographic screens/scrolling text, like "thanks for letting me by" or "I like your bumper sticker" to the more ruder comments of "could've signaled, dude!" lol without the gestures, which is a valid form of non-verbal communication. Idk, I thought it'd be cool if we ( Read more... )

Yes! Now, it seems like I would have to break a mirror in order to get the frame, lol, and I don't know if that will bring bad luck xD

I have, since I began driving, wanted a giant sign that attached to my car and would scroll text to other drivers. H+ would be an interesting alternative that I could see leading to some serious road rage lol. Despite its being outlawed to use while driving >.>

I read a book called Feed a while ago by M.T. Anderson that talks about this idea (having internet access installed in the human brain and it getting to the point where you have no choice about seeing ads and things like that. Yes!! Scrolling text! But you're right, it may cause road rage and more accidents xD

OOh, thanks for sharing that book with me.
Privacy is definitely an issue and that's why I don't think I would want H+ to be linked to my brain. Even if we could turn it off, I don't trust the programmer not to have put a back door to that option.
In the case of the series, there is a virus that gets into the system..and yea, not a pretty picture.

On the other hand, I think I would feel left out from those who are using it. I kind of feel that way now, what with people with smartphones and posting instant pics/updates when something cool happens.

Oh, and not to mention what it would do for interpersonal relationships. It's happening already, where people grow up with less interaction -I think we would miss out on that human connection.
