[It had been pure luck that Lloyd found an old radio amongst the ruins where he'd been wandering for the last day. Thankfully he managed to hang onto it over the difficult few minutes he'd had about half an hour before, which had involved a great deal of running and some extremely unexpected climbing

[He cranes his neck around, shifting a little] I'm...ah...there's a park to the north and a big red building to the south of me with a sign saying 'MacDonald's'. And if I'm reading the sign right I'm at the corner of Elm and Vine.

So after literally kicking a zombie in the gut to get it to back the hell off, she's running through town before she spots someone else, eyes widening a bit before she slows down]

A few hungry zombies are milling about on the ground beneath him, looking up and making clumsy attempts to climb up and reach the tasty morsel]
Ah, hello! [He waves cheerfully with one hand, his radio clutched protectively in the other] I could really use a hand here if you have some kind of weapon!

Well ... sort of?
[I think her bosses would forgive her for using this, considering the circumstances. She draws back her right leg, eyes narrowing before seemingly kicking nothing in a roundhouse kick - something was definitely wrong, she didn't feel the usual amount of force behind it - until a wave of blue-green energy erupted from the arc she kicked in, crashing into the nearby zombies as she ran in again]
Dunno if that got most of them, but sitting here's not gonna do any good!
