[S.L. is aimlessly walking through the compound, fiddling with a battered handheld CB radio to see if she can get it to work. For the most part, she rarely runs into things: she's spent a lot of time reading and walking in the past, but it's still taking most of her attention. She's not particularly good with electronics beyond what she's picked up

[Orson is seemingly both better at radio and less adept at walking as he collides with his sister in the hall.]

Sarah. [he says after a beat, gaining his footing and dusting himself off.] Was that General Marian?

[alwayswatched]

[Oof. She reaches out and stabilizes herself on him with one hand without thinking, keeping careful track of the radio in her left. After a moment she lets go.]

It's unlikely to be anyone else, isn't it? [she asks wryly.] She certainly makes herself known.

She's loud, [he corrects, wrinkling his nose, turning to walk in stride with her.] Let her have her delusions, rank means nothing here.

I'm not concerned either. Being loud doesn't necessarily mean a threat. [She smiles at him.] I hope you weren't thinking I was going somewhere important, because you'll soon be disappointed.

[Suddenly out of nowhere a wild Seth appears! She's laughing at your technology fail.]

Not bad~! A shame you caught the wrong channel. That lady is the same as ever, huh?

[alwayswatched]

[S.L. takes the laughing gracefully, just smiling at Seth.]

She is singular, if I were to pick a diplomatic word. How are you, Seth?

[Seth grins.] I'm doing great! What about you?

[alwayswatched]

I'm alright. I have to take breaks sometime, after all. Would you like to join me for lunch?

You can't even work a simple device and you want to call yourself our leader.

[alwayswatched]

Is that the criteria for leadership now? [she answers mildly, unperturbed.] I'll have to work on that, then.

It means that you need to learn to assign actual leaders.

In what way have I failed to do that? If you know of some structure that isn't working, of course I would like to address it.
