[For about a minute, there's nothing except Jacuzzi's panicked panting and the sound of his running footsteps, slightly uneven as if he's running with a limp. Eventually, he stops, catching his breath.]

[Radu's been hiding out in the ruins for the last day, slowly making his way towards the large building, but hiding from all of the Terrans he encountered as he tries to decide what to do. He hasn't found a radio yet, so he missed any other chatter, but this voice he hears with the sensitive ears of a Methuselah, not over any electronic device.

The Terran sounds very lost and helpless, and while Radu might have simply passed him by, the chances are that his call will result in a rescue pick-up. Maybe it's time to reveal himself and get some answers.

He steps around the corner of the building and regards the tattooed, panicking man. For now, he keeps his fangs hidden behind closed lips, and is careful not to show them off as he talks.]

You...don't know how we've come to be here, either, I assume?

[Jacuzzi hadn't been sure if he'd been expecting a reply, but he certainly hadn't expected one from someone so close by. He jumps about a foot in the air with a shriek, shrinking away with an arm raised in defence. He can already feel the tears prickling.]

N-No, mister, I don't know how I got here, I think I-I just woke up or somethin'. [He peers over his arm.] You're not from round here either?

[Radu takes two steps back in shock as the Terran shrieks so loudly and jumps up into the air.]

...No, I'm not. But I'm not going to hurt you! And if you keep making a racket like that, those undead creatures will surely hear you.

[Jacuzzi immediately covers his mouth with both hands. And then lowers them when he realises that would impede his speech, but when he speaks, it's in an exaggerated whisper.]

S-Sorry! I'm just so... scared... [He casts his eyes from side to side.] They're really undead?

B-Bitten? No, I-I haven't, oh jeez, I don't wanna get eaten out here - [and he continues in the same vein]
