This is what happens when you push someone too far, Judah (Jonathan?), this is what happens when you give people what they ask for and not what they need. This is what happens when you satisfy your own curiosity, Jonathan (Judah?), what happens when you let your family life go astray.

This is what happens in his city. Not Harvey's Dent's city, not that Gotham still with a gleam of promise underneath the filth. No. Two-Face's city, all pain and twisted scars, black with ash in places it can't ever be scrubbed out.

This is what happens in Gotham.

He watches him. Judah. Jonathan. He watches him, and smiles, smug and cruel, over his coffee. "Penny for your thoughts." Even the voice is different, just subtly. Rougher.

But it's the same coin gleaming dark-bright-dark on his knuckles.

He's lost family and loved ones to this city and his toxin, he's lost himself twice over to this city and his toxin. To his mind. This city, the bat, the clown all gave him Harvey. And now he's lost Harvey to his toxin.

Hasn't he?

He shakes his head, slowly. Carefully. He's not afraid of Harvey Dent, of Two Face. He's not. "Trade you."
