In the wake of the Oscar nods last month, my fellows interns and I were dispatched to work on a ballot for the Oscars, and with the utmost glee we wrote blurbs about the movies we had previously seen. Here are mine:

Ryan Gosling has come a long way. Besides Mickey Mouse Club (which is actually not a bad a show, considering who's associated with that as their launching pad), he was also on this very shortly run show called "Breaker High," about high school kids on a semester at sea. If it's up on YouTube, you ought to check it out. It has the cheese of Saved By the Bell.

I still can't believe the same guy who played a character on that show is now the actor he is today, on talent alone. It's even harder to believe that that kid turned out to be so hot.
