Not to be a noodge, but...

When they aren't clear about your start date, they probably haven't been clear about other things. It sent up huge red flags for me. I hope it did for you too.

Beware of the following:
Draw on Commission
That's where you draw a paycheck based on expected commissions. If you don't meet the goal, you have to pay it back.

Bonuses
If you bring in $4,000/mo, expect your company to withhold at a tax rate of $48,000. If you get bonuses that exceed that tax rate, don't be surprised if you get slammed on taxes.

Scams
Please make sure you covered your butt and Googled the hell out of these folks because it's a common scam in both CT and MA to sell unnecessary windshield replacements. It's usually done by hiring people to wash windows at gas stations and when the "attendant" sees a crack or chip they convince the owner to make an appointment to replace the windshield, and the insurance company denies the claim.

It's fine- it's not a pyramid scheme and they don't do any of those things.

It was a misunderstanding because they were willing to wait a month so I didn't screw AMR by dropping shifts on purpose (but they were dropped anyways because my back is still not 100%)I have the email with the clear date- though Mondays are more typical of a start day.

They already took me on the road with them to show me what a typical day was. They do road shows and have other clients.

And they told me that the only real way to get fired there other than excessive tardiness is to commit insurance fraud.
