Though I guess it is our fault for relying on a rodent for weather forecasts...

Not fair- mosquitos are alive and flying, yet we have sleet on the second day of spring. Meh.

Ah, New England. I've been swearing at the snow, too. Especially since it was so nice out last Friday I was outside in a t-shirt and managed to get slightly sunburned.

this was going to be my point. if we get another good warm day where the mosquitoes are out followed by one day of bitter cold, it will be a bad year for the mosquitoes.
