I know as a Nietzschean, you were taught to trust your senses more than a person. This is a ship, and it's not slipstream drive. If you listen, you might be able to tell. It has some sort of protective universal barrier around it that's occasionally breached. If you go up to the deck, which is just up the flights of stairs, you can see where its travelling.
