[Private to the Admiral]

I'd like a television, boxed by Jim's company, to be delivered to his room in exactly one hour.

[Private to Jim]

You will have your television soon, but I said that I would be there when it was delivered. You have one hour to be in your room. I will be there when that hour is up.

Very well. There are many advantages to the vessel, and my warden isn't disagreeable. He's certainly more forthcoming with intellectual conversation than the Andromeda was.

A ship's AI is worthless. Especially when they gain a true personality.

I'm assuming that's what you're referring to.

I am. I'm not disagreeable to the Doctor's personality. In his particular directive some creativity combined with the speed of compiled information could be extremely useful. I'm tempted, as he already has a file on me, to request a copy of his service record.

[And he might, vaguely, faintly be considering making a hologram of Dylan.]

And your inmate. Has there been progress?

I don't see why that should be a problem, as long as he has nothing to hide.

And progress with Jim continues as it did before, no thanks to the Admiral's "help."

We've got the basics done. I think it's time for another meeting.

[And I suggest the three of us start a chat about this tonight :CCC]

I would agree.

[Sounds like a plan!]

Been a bit preoccupied as of late, but I'm certain we can be prepared soon enough.

[Jim decided not to reply to his warden's comment, instead forcing himself to sit on his couch and wait. for all that he might not have wanted to admit it, without the box stashed safely in his room, he was feeling more tense than usual. He couldn't sleep properly, and he felt a mild sense of anxiety about the possibility that this was a trick. That his warden was offering him what he wanted purely so he could take it away from him, and gauge his reaction.

More concerning even than that, was the possibility that when Tyr insisted he be there for unpacking of the television, what he meant was that he wanted to actually watch the thing with Jim. Either way, Jim had steeled himself. He would prepare for the worst and hope that Tyr was true to the letter of the offer he had made.]

[For once, Tyr had no deceptions planned. He simply wanted to know what Jim wanted with a television. And, honestly, he wanted to see his inmate's room. He had never actually been inside, so the prospect was too tempting to pass up. He didn't really mind the fact that Jim had just wanted something so plain and easy. It made Tyr's life a little easier.

He just wish he knew why.

Without thinking more about it, he knocked hard on his inmate's door.]

[Jim stood and went to answer the door, before stepping back to let Tyr through, smiling faintly.]

Mr Anasazi.

[Tyr stepped inside without any real greeting. He inclined his head casually in the man's direction before looking around.]

Thank you for being timely. Or have you been here a while?
