Sort of like you said, Samus finds Otto to be really good conversation. She has a lot of respect for People of Science, in part because of her parents, and Otto is one of the few people who can talk sensibly to her about the multiple-worlds weirdnessess. She also respects Otto's accomplishments: she's used to *using* technology a lot more impressive than the arms, but actually building something like that is sort of impressive.

Of course, there's plenty about Otto that she just doesn't get. (Yes, she saw the Wonder Woman Thread, No, she doesn't understand the implications.) She knows that the Doc's relationship with Spiderman is too complicated for her to process, and if she knew what the whole story was with Wuya, she'd think much the same thing. And... of course the elephant in the room is that she doesn't know he's a fugitive felon.

So yeah, no surprises, really. She likes Otto, and is prone to Spectacular Conversational Errors around him.

All of his relationships with people are complicated. *lol* I'm sure she finds his angst right now to be inexplicable.

Samus's 'Spectacular Conversational Errors' make Otto a little uncomfortable, because he can't tell if she's doing it to be snarky/embarass him, or that she's genuinely that naive.

...I found a lot more "questionable" Wonder Woman scans. I might make a habit of having him post them every once in a while. XD

The lovely and talented mosellegreen made it her job to share golden age wonder woman crack with the masses. They just don't make them like that anymore.

So, they haven't interacted all that much, but Samus definitely feels sympathy for the whole killing-time-between-firefights low-on-the-totem-pole lifestyle. I don't really know if that's justified in Ravi's specific scenario (<.<) but Samus senses that sort of kinship.

On the other hand, Dude. Humans don't leave ghosts- everyone knows that. Multiple-universes is weird.

Maow?

Samus likes Shadow! They can be antisocial space buddies together.

I don't really know what else to say here. She sees someone who is similar to her in a lot of ways, and she just sort of clicked with him. She feels like they are cool with each other, if that makes any sense.

Incidentally, talking hedgehog from space makes perfect sense in her worldview.

Noo! Sad Maraich!

Part of the problem is that Samus has trouble telling the difference between a good-natured prank and a mean-spirited prank. Mairach 'enjoys a good jabbing', as you put it, and that's the first several things that Samus saw from him, so, yeah, her first impression was definitely negative. You don't steal someone's spaceship when they're drunk; it's not nice. And, y'know, the bringing-people-back-from-the-dead thing just makes her think of Ridley, which you Do Not want to be mentally associated with.

But! Since then, Samus is sort-of-kind-of-starting-to see the other sides of Maraich's character- She suspects she made a mistake and he's clearly more than she first though. Of course, she's not exactly comfortable talking about babies, relationships and the other stuff going on in Maraich's life, but. It wouldn't be impossible to get Samus to like him, just... very complicated.

Also, the en femme thing just goes right over her head. Entirely outside her context.

Maraich has many sad faces! Fear them!

The whole dead thing IS creepy ^o^ But, it's one of those things that just happened which will cause major trauma eventually.
Maraich doesn't get why Samus doesn't get stuff. It confuses him, because to him it's obvious.

And in principle, it wouldn't be that hard for her to explain why she doesn't get stuff; she just hasn't yet and Maraich isn't on top of the list of people she'd share things with.

I get the sense that if these two would actually, you know, communicate with each other, they'd get along just fine, but right now they're just on whole different frequencies- which, well, I think is really fun to watch.

...I'm so flattered.

Orlando hasn't seen much of Samus, but what he has seen he likes what he has. She's sensible, seems very competent, and is hunting down evildoers, which tends to put people in his good book. He would like to talk with her properly.
He doesn't quite get why she found getting info for Otto so disturbing, but this is a kid who from a very young age was hacking his medical files to find out all the problems the doctors wouldn't tell him, so he's kinda skewed.

You rock too!
