Here's an older 100-word Harry Potter drabble of mine. This one's rated G. The prompt, if I recall correctly, was "Sparkling".

where did you get the '100 word-thing' from? i wanna do this... but for another fandom :D pls let me no.

It is simply called a "100-word Drabble". While it is common in Harry Potter, I've seen them in other fandoms. Usually it involves communities setting prompts for each other. The 100-word limit is simply an exercise in how far you can take a concept without dragging on, and the goal is to get it in exactly 100 words. I hope that helped!
