Help!

All of my AIM buddies have vanished from iChat, and it has reset itself to the default empty buddy window. I googled it and got the Mac forum posting suggesting I delete the Preferences file in my library for AIM and the iChat agent, which I did, and then logged in to AIM. Still dead. Any suggestions?

I eventually figured out that it was an AIM issue, as adamjury said below. At midnight Eastern, iChat crashed, and when I relaunched it everything was fine.

This is an AIM issue right now, effecting people using a bunch of different clients.

Ah. Thanks! iChat took it upon itself to crash right at midnight Eastern time and when I reloaded it, it had my buddy list again, so yay. :)

Not having any trouble, and I'm using the Adium client (which I love to pieces).

Apparently it was an AIM issue generally, which eventually fixed itself.

I like iChat for most things, and on my Windows box I use Pidgin.
