I really miss the feeling of wanting to write. I have ideas, and I'm excited about them, but i just feel like I'm sick of writing. I'm not sure if this is a function of getyourwordsout or just me being cantankerous, but I'm hoping it fades. I need to be on my game for November

I've felt like that before. Still sometimes feel like that. And when you get behind on whatever, it really doesn't help you feel motivated and like you want to catch up because there's so much to do. Do you have a spreadsheet that tells you how many words you should do per day to catch up? When I was behind, I just tried to hit that every day instead of desperately trying to catch up all in one go.

There is! It seems that if you are someone who might be triggered by something such as non-con/dub-con or child abuse, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to never read anything that hasn't been pre-vetted for you, and if (God forbid) you should click on a fic that has not been festooned with warnings, and you get triggered by surprise!rape or abuse, well, you have no right to go acting all butthurt because clearly you brought it on yourself. Just like how a victim of sexual assault brought it on herself because she had a drink that night and wore a pretty dress. Yeah.

Fandom makes me angry enough to spit acid some days.

Maybe figure out a weekly goal? Then you don't have to write every day but every week you're getting closer?
