There's a dungeon I really hated in DDS2, and I can't remember if it comes before or after the Jailer, but I think after... one where you keep getting dizzy and disorientated and turned back on yourself? And it's so. big. Argh!

This is Digital Devil Saga 2. It's the second of a pair of games. They're not stealth RPGs at all; they're very old-school-style Japanese turn-based RPGs (I spent at least half my time in the previous game level-grinding from necessity.) That's the thing. If I bought an action RPG, or a stealth RPG, then I'd have known i was buying this. If I'm playing something that in terms of battle-mechanics sophistication is equivalent to FF3 (as in Luneth, Arc, et al.) - no. Not okay.
