Bought Infinite Undiscovery today. Have not yet started it because I got sidetracked by internets and FFTA. However, I did clear the final boss of the latter, and have 38 missions to go to completely clear everything! :) I kind of got owned by the 3 Vampires in the Mortal Snow mission trying to get Ritz to join me, so I'll go back and try again

I must say I am impressed with your ability to stick with FFTA. Every time I pick it up I do about one mission and then toss down my gb in disgust. I normally only play it when my DS is charging.

Mostly I just decided to GET IT DONE and of course if I'm going to do that, I'm doing it right, so I'm just kind of getting all the missions.

Jugglers, Assassins, Ninja, and Dragoons are basically the best classes ever, though. Free stop/oneshot kill/300 damage a turn/two-panel stab = YES.

You has a Dragoon, but are not using Jump every turn?

FFTA (and A2) has at least five awesome physical distance skills (Jump, Air Render, Far Fist, Sonic Boom, Nighthawk...). By the end, I wasn't even Attacking anymore.

BTW (to avoid double-commenting), what did you think of the story in the end? I'm curious which side of the Marche debate you fall on...!

well, my Dragoon switched to being a Bishop, and Jump does not work with non-spears. It was sad. But I got through it.

Air Render OWNS MY SOUL. Holy crap I love that skill. Sonic Boom kinda sucks in TA, though.

My opinion on the story is mostly "I want my REAL Ivalice back, damn it."

I probably won't start it until I have the guide, but I'll definitely be posting random squee.

In the meantime I'm going to try really hard to clear both FFTA and KH2 so my backlog isn't so huge. (I'm at the final boss in KH2, and cleared the final boss of FFTA last night, with just a few missions left to go, so!)
