take my love and bury it in a hole six foot deep

So, Tuesday morning was gorgeous - there was a deep, nearly impenetrable mist blanketing the entire area (which put me somewhat in mind of herod_the_nut's NWOD game last year, and made me twitch a bit). I couldn't see clearly more than maybe 15 yards in front of me, which should have terrified me being that I was hurtling about in a very heavy metal box that ( Read more... )

It's good to know that I'm having a positive effect on how people view the world.

With some practice I think your art will be "teh sexxors". (Is that term even applicable in such a sentence?) I can't wait to see some more!

Okay, I'm not a Buffy fan but....It has a musical?

Oh em gee.

One of the episodes was a musical which, true to Buffy form, broke the fourth wall and had all kinds of excellent awesome.

Well, the art can only become awesome if I have the patience to actually work on it. I bought inexpensive pencils and a cheapie sketchbook because that way, if I get bored in a week, I've only spent $7. XD

I hope you don't work on it, in that I hope it's not a chore. Practice by doodling in the margins when you pause in your writing maybe.

I do almost all my writing on the computer; I thought of purchasing a tablet to draw on the computer, but it's a daunting expense ($100+) and so I don't want to take that step until I'm sure I would use it, you know?

I have a great bunny for a fanart right at this moment, but I don't know how well it will turn out. I'll probably try to draw it four or five times and then get frustrated. XD But we will see.

Hey, cockeyed_art is for beginners like me, too, and the best thing about fanart is that you have automatic references so if you struggle with certain things there is always somewhere to start!

Basically COME PLAY WITH US PLZ.

I has not scanner or tablet, though. but we shall see.

Hmm, well, that might be problematic. ;)

The thing I like about cockeyed_art, though, is that there's a sense of accountability in that you have to draw EVERY WEEK but there's no pressure to be "good" or submit "high quality" art, it's only about getting something in. XD

It's worked well, so far, anyway.

hehe. it's twue.

I don't know, I don't want to invest in a scanner until I know I'm going to draw, you know?
