I do believe that they might be taking it a little bit Crystal Meth worry too far. If you croaked on the spot then what? There would be one less Walgreens around cause I would have to go crazy. X_X

awww I've got some weird allergies that have been keeping me from LJ so I didnt know you were sick.

Sorry to hear about the cold medicine carding. Goes to show a few bad apples can spoil the whole bunch. -.-

*sterilized huggles* I hope you recover quickly! Being sick is never fun.

It's just a yucky cold - the standard sore/scratchy throat, runny nose, and cough. Also headache, but I think that's probably more related to the weather change than anything else :)

Thank you for the huggles! I was wondering where you had got to as I had not seen Vess-posts in a couple days.

I mean, I can understand tracking purchases of pseudoephedrine becuase of the production of methamphetamine, which the state Attorney General is very hardcore about cracking down on. I just find it mildly ridiculous to have to prove my age to buy cold medicine, and that one has to basically do name, rank, and serial number (I'm half surprised they didn't ask for his Social Security Number) to purchase anything with pseudoephedrine. Last time I tried, in the spring (for Claritin D) they made me take a card to the pharmacy counter and get the items from the pharmacist. I guess this other system is so they can red-flag it if someone purchases 10 boxes of Sudafed from 10 different stores, but still. It's a bit absurd.

Could be even more corporate. kruammitak September 14 2006, 21:27:48 UTC
I only get 15 days of flex time every year. After the 5th year anniversary I get 20 and after 10 years I get 25.

This doesn't include the seven days off for Christmas, Thanksgiving and suck- I mean such.
