Listen to the rain...

So I'm home right now instead of at work because I was supposed to have physical therapy this morning. I trek up there (about a 20 minute walk) to find out that somehow they thought I was scheduled for yesterday morning. Now, I very carefully wrote down the date and time because I had to request off work. The receptionist was very apologetic, ( Read more... )

I'm not encouraging it, but I've heard of people holding onto tires until the belts can be seen. They somehow managed to avoid dying in a terrible car accident. Like I said, I'm not saying it's a good idea, but, in extreme cases (e.g. lack of funding), you may be able to hold onto the tires for a little bit longer depending on the quality of the tires and the punishment they take.

1. Laurell K. Hamilton writes bad het porn that has no plot. It sells.

2. Ha, fear me and my squee.

3. Exterior door to the apartment, maybe?

1. It's funny that the person who wrote the essay was blathering about how well written her erotica is.

2. Not so much the squee as the "made of ____"

3. Even less stable and staying-shut than the door to my bedroom -.- Oh, wait, exterior door? They're both swollen and fit their frames poorly so I probably couldn't even get them closed.

Thats really unfortunate. Thats, what, 2 mucked up schedule issues in almost as many days? No fun there.
I disagree about the rain though. I loves it so. Makes me feel all tingly inside. And not in a disturbing way.

LOL. I like rain when I don't have to be at work, really. I love lying in bed on rainy Saturday mornings and just watching the raindrops slide down the window and hearing the rain patter on the roof. I just don't like being outside in cold rain or staring outside when it's grey and gloomy when I'm already depressed just from being here.

I saw there's a new book coming out, which means I must reread the trilogy. Of coruse, I cannot do that until Drew moves in, because the book makes me...well...just a little horny...or a lot. It just makes me want to pounce. And I already have enough sexual frustration couped up inside me to last the final two weeks.

Believe it or not, a week ago, I had a dream that I was working in an S&M parlor wearing little leather short-shorts and halter. Guess my subconscious knew the next book would be arriving at stores.

By they way, do you ever trek back to Maryland?

Heee. I'm planning on re-reading the trilogy before Scion comes out. And I'll just have to deal with the horny. *sigh*

Yes, in fact, I do trek back to Maryland. I'll be heading back between 21 July and 28 July. Two of those days I'm definitely unavailable; the rest are flexible.
