Zzzzzzzz

Well, I didn't get nearly as much done yesterday as I planned. I did stop at the gym on my way home - half an hour on an elliptical, at low intensity (target heart rate 128, I was at 135 for most of it). I'm either in better shape than I thought, or something weird, because my legs were a little tired when I was done but I was otherwise fine. ( Read more... )

*stumbles off in search of coffee*

Well I think to some extent it probably falls under the same heading as holistic medicine or acupuncture, as well.

Doesn't matter. Society has it's head so far up it's ass that it hasn't seen daylight in 50 years. I'll bring that up in the next rant. *EG*

How true, how true.

It perenially astounds me that such folk continue to function.

Yep. Stupid people survive in large herds....er....groups.

No, the word you want is most definitely "herds."

I'm now debating not working out tonight because of this stupid migraine. Argh. I've done just about everything I can think of that's not taking a nap - took Advil, had something caffeinated (which I was trying to avoid doing), had lunch - and it's not making much of a dent. Or rather, it's gone from being a sharp stabbing pain in two locations to being a general throbbing pain through all of my head.

Oh how I wish I could go home.

Go home and get some rest. As for working out you look fantastic as you are.

*kisses her nose and goes to work*

Can't go home - not enough flex time. Well, I have it. I just don't want to use it.

Need to work out. Must drop 2 sizes by bathing suit season =)

*hugs*

I don't see why. I think you look great. :)

I don't like the way I look, though, and I'd look absurdly ridiculous in a bikini with my pudgy gut wobbling.

If it's something that you want to do then I support it. My problem with the whole weight issue is society's view on it. I've dated women that were over twice your weight and I saw them as beautiful.

I wouldn't care if you weighed 100lbs or 300lbs. I'll still see you the same way. I do understand wanting to weigh less though. I once broke 210lbs and got concerned.

For someone who's 5'3" and very fragile boned, 138 is a lot. For an example of how small my bones are: I wear a women's size 6 and a half shoe (which is TINY for a grown woman), and if I stretch my hand to the limit I can just about reach one octave on a piano keyboard. When I was slightly pudgy before, I still fit easily into a size 6. That should give you a relatively good key as to how slightly built I normally am.

*nods* That makes a difference. You should probably be 10lbs or so lighter for health reasons. Your body isn't built to handle a lot of weight. That doesn't change my viewpoint on beauty though. :)

See? The Brat does have a brain and does realize when there are extenuating circumstances.

Even if I can't spell. *L*

Yeah. I'm not looking to fit into a size 4 or anything. I just want to fit back into a size 6, or 8 at the most.

If you fit into a size 4 it better come with a weight belt. You'd blow away otherwise.

As long as you're healthy and happy nothing else matters. *scritch*
