I am all out of spoons. I just spent the last ones on making a dentist appointment. (I haven't been in *coughcoughcough* and I'm not looking forward to it; the office I'm using came with the highest of most trusted recommendations, so that will help, but oh my God oh my God oh my God ( Read more... )

Oh, I love my optometrist :) I've been going since I was 4. It's just, I didn't have vision insurance (still don't, but at least now I am not doom-combo uninsured AND unemployed). And I'm starting to be able to tell that my prescription is wrong.

(Optometrist visits are somewhat limited by "times I go back home in a year." But I am stubborn and will continue to go see him until he retires, at which point I will grudgingly and annoyedly find another, closer to Chi-town.)
