"Space: Above and Beyond"

This was a series on Fox (The killer of good television) from 1995-1996. I think it's the best Space Opera ever, and has what I believe to be the finest soliloquy ever delivered by a character.

Well-written, well-acted, dirty, gritty, and often violent. It's available on dvd and presumably for streaming, and is well worth a look.

I remember the name and I'm certain I must have seen trailers at the time but I never caught an episode.
I'll keep it in mind next time I looking for new stuff to check out.

It is by no means light entertainment, but I think it's better now than I did originally. It's quite real-feeling, despite the setting.

Things are tough for Brie right now and I hate not being able to help more, but I'm hoping things will calm down soon.

Maybe the EU stuff will make it more affordable for her to join you. I admit that I know nothing of what it takes to move from here to there on a permanent basis, though.
