Is there anyone in the world who DOESN'T picture Viggo as Roland? :) Seriously for me it's so obvious that he *IS* Roland, period.

And I really like your cast too, your Cuthbert is perfect.

ghhhh i'm so glad you like my choice for Bert, Taylor is the reason I started all this (and I have a massive crush on both the actor and the character so.. XD) because I've had him in my mind first and then the other followed

Wizard And Glass is my favourite book from the Dark Tower series and I like to think in pictures while reading, I imagine people and actors in the roles, but I always had a hard time to picture Roland's old ka-tet. I think that's the reason this novel would be most difficult to made into film (and I just love you chose this one for the challange), the young actors must be just as good as the main characters. Young Roland, that's quite a a challange for one thing. And I have to admit I don't know the actor your chose for Bert and the actress you chose for Susan, but I like both choices very much.
And Jake is a very tough choice too, he's the one I could never name an actor I can imagine playing him. But this boy you chose looks great for Jake.
And Kevin Durrand, OMG, what a great choice! He's such a high class badass. Such ans Gary Oldman, and also A+ for Helena as Cordelia Delgado. Oh, Chris Bale as Steven Deshain, this is such an amazing cast. I'm just wondering who could play the witch Rhea and Sheemie.

I'm 3/4 through the book and made sure with my Tower!geeky sidekick that there weren't other characters to cover before starting..I decided because it's soo good and my fav so far (I'm a new Tower!junkie but when i get addicted, i do it for real *lol*)..I have cheated a bit and read a bit of the graphic novels, which are soo good XD

The actor I chose for Bert is from Friday Night Lights (I know him from there) and he's also going to star in the new Wolverine movie, where he's Gambit.
The actress for Susan is pretty unknown..she was a guest star in Supernatural but with a key-role and she totally nailed it..plus she's so pretty **

Jake is a very tough choice too, he's the one I could never name an actor I can imagine playing him
me neither, until I saw Fireflies in the garden and that kid was just great there...that I wrote down his name XD

eee Durrand is purrrrfect for that. Well, I admit I'd have chosen half of the 3:10 to Yuma cast..Bale as Dan Evans was amazing and I needed to put him somewhere..if not Roland, another badass
