Tristan and Isolde

So I just saw Tristan and Isolde. You mean... they actually ended up happily ever after?!!!! I miss the trashy romance novels I used to borrow from you - the Mallorys and the Montgomerys, especially. And then, Judith McNaught's idiot heroes, the one who I'd like to twhap upside the most being Clayton of Whitney, My Love (spanking - WTF?!) and my favorites being Jason of Once and Always and Nicholas, the second banana dude in the one with the heroine named Alexandra. I should get myself a copy of that. Something Wonderful. That's it. XP

My view of Tristan and Isolde has always been colored by T.H. White's opinion of them in The Once and Future King. Which is: Tristan's the biggest idiot there is. Hahahahaha. It didn't help that I nearly threw the book across the room and groaned, "Will this EVER end?" when I read it for real in the Mallory version of the King Arthur story.

But I might grab the DVD. And watch. If only because James Franco is a babe. Hee.
