Considering that the last things that the hijackers likely said before hitting the towers was, "Allah hu ackbar," I find your, "God Save Us" tragically ironic. Disease, indeed.

I wish I knew. I can only list some other symptoms, such as the one about us humans always needing there to be a bad guy. We're not comfortable unless there's something evil to hate.

Why? I can only guess.
