Seriously, I had a heart attack of utter JOY when this appeared on flist. AND I WAS GRINNING THE ENTIRE WAY THROUGH IT. BRB, RE-READING.

Babe curled up on the bed once they were in the room. It was his day off and he didn’t want to go anywhere. He didn’t care how much of a child it made him, he just wanted to stay home, enjoy the quiet, maybe eat some ice cream for lunch and relax. He did not want to go out and be an adult.

Oh, man. This is me ALL THE TIME. Everytime Michael asks me what I want to do on the wkends or whatever, I just climb into bed. BEST ANSWER FOR EVERYTHING.

“The honeymoon is clearly over.”

“If you ever want a blowjob again your life, you will get your ass out of bed and into the shower,” Gene said as he pointed at the bathroom door.

THANK YOU! I am very glad you enjoyed it, bb! As I said, fluff ficlet that ended up being 4k plus. I just, this 'verse. I love writing it. It's an unending world of joy, sarcasm, and bromance.

So, funny story. The first section of this fic was actually an attempt at the domestic!fic prompt you gave me months ago. It wasn't going anywhere, so I shelved it, and now you see the result!

And yes, Babe with curly hair is adorbs. I speak from personal experience, the humidity in the south turns my own wavy hair into ringlets. It just happens. There is no fighting the humidity down here.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaavorite AU ever. Not just this story (although this story makes me grin and mmm, backstory) but all of them. As soon as I found this series and read the very first one on AO3 I bookmarked it. And then. THEN. I found out there was MORE and it's all so wonderful. The nicknames Roe and Shelton have for each other, the atmosphere, the way I can just feel the muggy heat of the South.

And Roe! Oh your Roe. And the littlest tidbits about Spiers hanging around on occasion (in the past sure but) <3 Please tell me there will be more of this soon?

Oh, thank you! I have to admit, out of the many fic-verses I've worked on, for many a fandom, this one always brings me such joy to write.

And yes, there is a ton more coming for this 'verse. Speirs will appear a lot more in the future fic-posting. I'm just kind of stuck right now on the Southern section of the AU-verse. I am currently working on the next major story, but there will probably be more ficlets posted before then.

I won't lie, the Southern Section kind of owns my heart. It wasn't even supposed to be the main focus when I started plotting the 'verse out a year ago. Whoops. It really is because of my deep and abiding Roe love.
