So...I really wish I had money. And a slightly better understanding of Finnish. I want books so bad and I'm having trouble finding English websites that will sell me Finnish books. I have found a few things, such as Houkutus, (Twilight)

Heheh, the last one (Koirien Kalevala) is very popular in Finland. The author Mauri Kunnas is considered one of the greatest author.

yeah I was wondering about that one. Is that actually tales from the Kalevala, but in a children's book? Because if it is, I'm totally buying it. ^_^ I've tried reading the Kalevala and most of it, though very pretty, is actually pretty confusing.

I especially want the children's books that teach numbers, the alphabet, etc. Since they'd actually really help me. ^^' And my goal one day is to know enough of a language to teach it to my children (I think all children should speak two languages) and, of course, having children's books would be helpful, then, too.

Maybe I just want to justify buying them for myself? :)

Yeah, the Koirien Kalevala is kind of a children's version of Kalevala. It's very cute and funny, and many people around here want to buy it for their children so they can learn how to read and learn something about finnish folklore at the same time.

Haha, Kalevala is really a confusing book, even finns have problems when trying to read it - the text is so old.

The Japanese think ALL women are easy. Except the evil villainese in an Anime.
