I know that a lot of people are uncomfortable with just how much commercial power Tesco have in this country, with figures of 1 in 6 domestic £ spent with this chain. However my experience today shows that other businesses really don't help themselves ( Read more... )

I have Tesco insurance on my cats and in both instances that I have had cause to use it (one injury, one lost cat) they have been brilliant.

Nope. Not at all.

On the plus side, at least the NatWest chappy was helpful in that he suggested an easy way to get round the $ purchase.

I think the post office is worse, never understood why anyone would want to bank with them lunchtime queues are awful.
For money exchange I check out rates as they vary so much. earlier this year I ended up buying online too (with my credit card & no id), secure next day delivery with no postage fee for the amount I spent. Will definitely use them again next time - Fairfx
