Fandom things of awesome happening right now:

I was ambivalent about 50/50 because I tend to avoid pretty much everything that deals with diseases/impact it has on lives, because it depresses the hell out of me. But now you have got me slightly more OK about seeing it.

I know what you mean. I usually stay away from any movie that seems like it'll be, IDK, A Walk to Remember or something similar. But 50/50 was really great. There's a good mix of situational humor and funny dialogue, the jokes are actually funny and not strained or over the top, and I really enjoyed it. :)

oh man, i want to see 50/50 so badly but i'm going to wait for it since i can't merit the expense at the moment. i've heard bad things about h50 so far this season. that's so sad. i haven't been watching it since it's on at the same time of castle (which has been good so far and i love the show and you should definitely check it out if you haven't seen it, btw).

i hope the writing goes better now, dear. and aww, you're wonderful too. ♥

I know what you mean! Movies are so expensive these days. I've started going on Saturday afternoons because the matinee price is the cheapest. And I'm super picky about what I go see.

Yeah, H50 used to be ridiculous and fun and all about the relationships and now it's really boring and they seem to be leaving the relationship aspect behind and focusing on maximum angst (or trying to anyway). So sad. =( Ooh. I do enjoy Castle. I've been watching the reruns with my mom on TNT. I didn't watch much past the first few eps when it first started bc I didn't think it was very good but now that it's hit its stride, it's really fun. Also CAPTAIN MAL. <3

Oh yes! Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!! ROONEY MARA! DANIEL CRAIG. hehe Dec movies: Tinker, Tailor, Sherlock Holmes 2, and MI4 (mostly because of Jeremy Renner). I also kind of want to see the new Three Musketeers but not enough to see it in theaters. I'm just going to wait till it hits Redbox.
