And speaking of cool things that happened to me, I saw Thor yesterday. It was cool. Kind of expected, but the acting was good and it had a little more heft to it than the usual popcorn movie.

The things I've heard about POC4 make me leery of spending two hours plus captive in a theater with just that for entertainment.

Ooh! My sis and her bf have seen it and they liked it, so I'm thinking of giving it a try. I might have to wait and rent it though, since I have so many summer movies I want to see. XD

Oh man, X-Men. BEST EVER, am I right? I have to see it again, five times if I can afford it. :P And agreed re: Pirates 4. I quite loved the cleric/mermaid part but the rest, while fun, wasn't very intriguing.

YES. It went way beyond anything I expected. :D

It's weird but cleric/mermaid was so ~obvious~ from the get-go and yet it was so much fun. During that one scene, you know which one, my sis and I were like ooh, he's totally going to--yes, there goes the shirt! Woot! haha

It's one of the best things I've ever read. Seriously amazing. <3 Ooh, now I'm doubly excited about reading Shoebox Project!!

Stealing Harry was one of the fics that got me into fandom, it makes me so happy to see people rec it! As for HP recs, just anything by Sam is good but Cartographer's Craft is probably my favourite. :)
