Purefoy!

I mean, yes to all of these, but especially that one. Mmm.

I quit doing this meme at some point, but just wanted to note that when I was watching The Last Station, I thought, "Damn, I want Christopher Plummer to play Lear!" Then I watched Helen Mirren for a while, and I thought, "Damn, I want her to play Lear."
There oughta be some way to pull that off.

She's playing Prospero in Julie Taymor's Tempest (Which thrills me to no end) so it's at least plausible!

Christopher Plummer has played Lear. I know he did it at the Stratford Festival (and on Broadway) six or seven years ago...

Do! It has its issues, but I absolutely love it.

The thought of Northam as Richard III and Swinton as Margaret in the same production might make my head explode. ;)

He did it for the RSC sometime in the mid-90s, I believe, and although it was never filmed that I know of, it was recorded on audio for the ArkAngel Shakespeare series, and it is a wonderful recording.

Kate Winslet as Desdemona would be excellent. I don't think she's done much Shakespeare...
