Good luck on the health front - I find keeping a good balance of mental and physical wellbeing to be a fairly constant struggle, but I seem to be just about winning at the moment.

I never did say that I finally got around to reading that first Jack Reacher novel. What most struck me at first was the sentences. Often quite short sentence fragments. Sometimes without verbs. Presumably implying dynamism. ;)

Once I'd got past that I ended up rather enjoying it, with all its implausibilities. I was rather quicker than Jack to work out the reason for 'E Unum Pluribus', though. :)

I guess I don't notice the fragmented sentences, since I listen to them as audiobooks, but they are fun.
