It took me a little while to figure out that WINOLJ stands for 'who is not on LJ' XD (She used to be, didn't she? It makes me sad when people delete :().
(If the price of the Strongbow was draw-dropping even given London club prices I hate to think how much it was, especially as Strongbow is rubbish).

It was such a shame that Altfest was cancelled. I'm glad 9 Worlds almost made up for it though.

I don't think Becky was ever on LJ, no (Sahra used to be, before she changed her name etc IRL).

IIRC, a 330ml bottle of Strongbow at SWS cost something like £3.50. It did mean I managed to go home not even drunk, so not a trace of a hangover the next day. ;)

Yeah, it was a real sham about AltFest. Much to my surprise, my bank does appear to be looking at doing me a refund, even though I bought a ticket before they went up over £100, which means the credit card protection laws don't require them to do so...
