Still in vaguely sunny Sussex

Decided to leave for the North tomorrow instead of today after getting very little sleep last night due to huge family conflicts (over the actions of 11 year old step-sister, R, and therefore involved her and the step-mother, not me for once). Felt too tired to travel 300ish miles today so figured one day isn't going to hurt anyone

Oh hun, I was in Tun Wells today, if I'd known you were still around, would have texted you...

It's really hard moving to new area & not knowing people, esp. if you're not sure if you're gonna be staying somewhere (I know you've been looking in London for jobs) so if worth getting to know people. *sympathises*

Hope your journey up North goes okay -- and that things are a bit calmer at home now. Take care x

It's hard because although I could logically have friends down here, i.e. old school friends I'm not sure if any of them are still around or even if I'd want to meet up with them. They know nothing about me post 16 and I've changed a lot so it would be really awkward. I have to make up my mind where I'm going to be living, here or the north and then I think I can start on a social life. Even if I get a job in London, I'd still live here for a while 'till I found my feet and got enough money for a flat so the onus is on me, and I don't like that!

Don't worry about not texting, I told everyone I was going north today so I've only got myself to blame. As for home situation, step-sister is still slamming doors at everyone but apart from that it's a lot quieter!
