I've been suffering with severe pain in my hands, wrists, feet and ankles for some time now. The pain initially started just in my wrists when I was pregnant with Sam but the GP told me it was pregnancy related carpal tunnel syndrome and it would go once Sam was born, or within 12 weeks ( Read more... )

Eww, I feel for you. I had to take Methotrexate earlier this year for my lupus. It did nothing for me but cause my chest to become inflammed so I had to stop taking it. I have similar issues with the joint pain, fingers stiffening up, etc. Did the rheumatoligist do any more tests? They say people in our age group are "too young" for RA which is why I ask.

I hope you get some relief soon!

Just bloods and a MRI scan. Had previously had ultrasounds too.
Am a bit nervous to take it as it seems pretty brutal but if it works then I'll just deal with it!
