yes, it really was. I dont know if I'm just already in an emotionally fragile state, every year, right before finals, or what, but it always seems that SOMETHING has me ending up in tears right at the same time I'm supposed to be taking a test!
What that lady did (and then the customers and cashiers defending her) was completely out of line and oh my god I'm so sorry you had to put up with that. Do you think maybe you could write a complaint to the store? Most of what happened was the woman's fault but the cashiers are supposed to listen to their customers and you know hand the food and drink to the RIGHT people.
No, I'm not going to complain to the store. I can just imagine them reading it out loud to the employees and them all laughing about the girl who got mad, knocked over a post, and left without her coffee, all because the lady behind her in line was trying to be nice to her. I can never, ever show my face in there again.
I consider it rude for that lady, acting as if you can't order a coffee for yourself. And for the whole place not to stand by your side, at least one of them ... shish! Sorry you had to go through so much troubles, I didn't have a great week myself. It may sound a bit odd but I really like how you express yourself perfectly when you have such moments. Whenever anything similar happens to me I want to write about it then take that idea back. I like your writing that explains your thoughts clearly.
thanks for the compliment. i do enjoy writing, very much, and sometimes as things are happening, I'm thinking, oh, I could write about this! but I guess the trade off is that I'm not very good at expressing myself in person, so I get misunderstood a lot, and it's frustrating to me.
Wow. If I'd have witnessed that as a bystander, I'd have flipped out for you. It boggles my mind how some people just do not understand personal space or think it's ok to just butt in like that. You really should write a complaint. If you're never going to how your face in there again, it doesn't matter. But at least someone will know.
I know... I mean I do know that some people have no sense of personal space, but it just blew my mind that I could look around at the WHOLE PLACE and no one would stand up for me. I'm still pretty angry over this... maybe I really should write a complaint.
