Laura Roselin was sitting in a cell in now cylon occupied world of New Caprica pondering her life as president of the thirteen colonies. She loved the fleet epically one of the guardians and of the fleet, Sharon Valarii. Sharon was there for her when Laura struggled with her cancer and the responsibility thrust on her all at once. It was a professional and deeply personal betrayal when Sharon was revealed to be a cylon agent. Laura deeply grieved for her along with Adama bringing their relationship to another level. Laura was haunted by Sharon everywhere she looked.
When Boomer's "sister" came to the fleet the president thought is was another delusion that were products of her grief.
