Ok, this:
She’s always been able to think of him as MINE, especially now that he’s become her project just as much as she’s been his.

and this:

“I thought it would last forever.”

Kate flicks his forehead with her finger. “That’s not a secret, Clint. That’s a truth.”

“The secret is that I thought it would last forever but I didn’t believe it. Not really. The secret is that I could see the end from the very beginning.”

and THIS:

“Do you think this is news to me?” Kate tweaks his ear until he comes back against the couch. “I’m not trying to catch you. I’m falling right beside you.”

I like the thought of Kate being the person who is holding Clint up, at the moment. In my head space, he was there for her before this and now she's offering him the same thing. It's this mutual care that has made them so close.

And I'm glad you liked those particular quotes because they're my favorite, too!

Man, I love that gif!

They have the same strengths and flaws, expressed in two different directions (most of the time). And I think that's one of the reasons I 'ship them rather than another kind of relationship (and I LOVE that the books leave it so open to interpretation, yay!) because to me, siblings come from the same place, and go (or are shaped) in different directions - you can see the stamp on them of where they've come from and that's their similarity. But in this case, they started out from radically different stamps (you can't really *get* more different than their backgrounds) and found the same (or are finding the same) shape ( ... )
